The official line-up for the 94th 24 Hours of Le Mans has been revealed.
From former winners such as Romain Dumas returning to the Circuit de la Sarthe to rising talents including F1 Academy champion Doriane Pin and former Formula 1 driver Logan Sargeant making their Le Mans debuts, this year’s field brings together an impressive mix of experience and youth.
Ferrari arrives seeking a fourth consecutive victory at Le Mans against an 18-car Hypercar field that includes Genesis, which will make its highly anticipated debut at the pinnacle of endurance racing.
The Grid
With entries across Hypercar, LMP2 and LMGT3, 62 cars will take to the Circuit de la Sarthe. Nineteen manufacturers are represented across the field, while teams from 12 nations will compete, with French, British, German and Italian outfits making up the majority.
Among these 62 cars, there will be the following:
- 18 Hypercars
- 19 LMP2 cars
- 25 LMGT3 cars
- 6 Reserve cars
This year’s grid features 186 drivers from 33 nationalities. The largest contingents come from France (26), the United Kingdom (24), the United States (15) and Italy (13). Nineteen of the drivers have previously won the 24 Hours of Le Mans, including reigning overall winners Yifei Ye, Robert Kubica and Philip Hanson.
Le Mans once again serves as a meeting point for drivers from Formula 1, Formula E, the FIA World Endurance Championship, IndyCar and Grand Touring series racing, creating one of the most diverse fields in motorsport.
The diversity of the grid is also reflected in the presence of female drivers. Despite the absence of an all-female Iron Dames entry this year, two female drivers will compete in the race.
Can Anyone End Ferrari’s Dominance?
The Italian marque has had a strong streak of victories at the Circuit de la Sarthe since 2023. Each of the three Ferrari 499Ps has clinched a win at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and the Prancing Horse remains undefeated.
However, there are still 15 cars in the Hypercar class with a shot at claiming the victory at the 94th 24 Hours of Le Mans.
One to look out for is Toyota, who will be aiming to reclaim the crown. Not only is the Japanese brand the most successful manufacturer in WEC history, but it also currently stands P2 in the Manufacturers’ Championship. Toyota is a mere 7 points behind the current Championship leader, BMW. Toyota also had a strong start to the 2026 WEC season with a victory at the Imola season-opener.
Making their Le Mans debut is Genesis Magma Racing. The South Korean brand has had an impressive maiden season in WEC thus far. At the 6 Hours of Spa, the No. 17 car brought Genesis their first points in WEC. They will be looking to bring the point-scoring momentum to their inaugural appearance at Le Mans.
Returning Champions of the LMP2 Class
A driver many will be keeping on their radar this weekend is Romain Dumas. The Frenchman, a two-time 24 Hours of Le Mans winner, will be making his 24th start with his own team this year. Dumas will be behind the wheel of the No. 48 RD Limited in the LMP2 category after a successful ALMS warm-up campaign.
Making their return to defend their LMP2 class victory are Tom Dillmann, Jakub Śmiechowski, and Nick Yelloly in the No. 43 Inter Europol Competition. They enter the 94th 24 Hours of Le Mans as the benchmark for the LMP2 class.
Young Talents To Look Out For:
There will also be many young talents making their highly anticipated debut at the 94th 24 Hours of Le Mans.
In the No. 24 Nielsen Racing, Jack Doohan will be making his highly anticipated Le Mans debut. The former Alpine F1 driver had redirected his career into ELMS early this year. He was quick to adapt to the Oreca 07 LMP2 car and is currently P10 in the ELMS LMP2 Drivers’ Championship.
Another rookie making their Le Mans debut is 19-year-old Adrien Closmenil. The French driver is set to compete in the No. 37 CLX Motorsport car. In 2025, he dominated the ELMS LMP3 class, winning 5 out of the 6 races of the season. His stellar performance last season granted him the opportunity to make his debut at Le Mans.
Driving the No. 77 Ford Mustang is former Williams F1 driver Logan Sargeant. The 94th 24 Hours of Le Mans will mark his debut, and many have high expectations for the American. Despite only sitting P8 in the WEC LMGT3 Drivers’ Championship, Sargeant has shown impressive flashes of raw pace in his rookie season thus far.
Mercedes-AMG Makes Its Return To Le Mans
One of the key talking points ahead of the weekend is the return of Mercedes-AMG to the Circuit de la Sarthe.
Iron Lynx are making their return to Le Mans this time, partnered with Mercedes-AMG. The German manufacturer is returning to the Circuit de la Sarthe after 26 years, with three cars on the grid this year.
Among the drivers to watch is Giuliano Alesi in the No. 62 Team Qatar by Iron Lynx entry. The son of former Formula 1 race winner Jean Alesi will be aiming to make an impression on one of motorsport’s biggest stages.
The Women of Le Mans
The 94th 24 Hours of Le Mans entry list features two female drivers. Both of which possess the raw pace and racecraft that will make them exciting to watch. One of them is the highly praised young talent Doriane Pin, and the other is Lilou Wadoux, a pioneering figure in GT racing.
2025 F1 Academy Champion Doriane Pin will be making her return to Le Mans in the No. 30 Duqueine Team. She first made her 24 Hours of Le Mans debut in 2023 with Prema Racing. In 2026, Pin will be returning to the LMP2 class with Richard Verschoor and Julien Andlauer.
In the LMGT3 class, Lilou Wadoux will be behind the wheel of the No. 150 Richard Mille AF Corse. This will be her 4th career appearance at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Wadoux will share the Ferrari 296 GT3 Evo with teammates Custodio Toledo and Riccardo Agostini.
A Grid Packed with Storylines
The 2026 Le Mans entry list highlights the depth and variety that continue to define endurance racing’s most famous event. Ferrari arrives chasing a fourth consecutive victory, while Toyota looks to return to the top step and Genesis prepares for its maiden appearance at the race.
Elsewhere, the return of Mercedes-AMG adds another layer of intrigue, while experienced winners such as Romain Dumas share the spotlight with emerging talents including Doohan, Closmenil, Pin and Sargeant. With 62 cars and 186 drivers set to take the start, the stage is set for another compelling edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
