Not the result they wanted, starting from the back, finishing 18th. Norman Nato told The Girls Who – Motorsport after the race that no strong points were taken from the race. “Something clearly is not working on the car.” Proofing that Nissan recognises what is happening, but they don’t know yet how to fix it.

Nato explained, that the frustration wasn’t even over the results. Moreover it was that he couldn’t even fight for places, learn from mistakes. Therefore he thinks he could have done better, describing the problem as, “Honestly, it’s like pure pace.”

When asked if there was anything to take away from the Saturday race, that he could use for Race 2, the French driver explains, that the main concern isn’t the temperature being warmer. “It’s a good thing that we go again tomorrow from zero.” It seems to be more about fixing the car, so him and his Nissan teammate, Oliver Rowland, can focus on driving.

Nato is happy, about the second chance in Race 2, he states, “In Formula E, from one day to another, everything can be so different. The 33-year-old made it clear, that he never gives up. According to him the Nissan Formula E team is already investigating the pace problem, but it’s not something obvious. And it sometimes takes time. ‘They’re going to try their best to find the solution.”
