The world of electric racing is in for a massive adrenaline boost as Formula E brings its first-ever Evo Sessions to the Miami International Autodrome on 5-6 March. Bringing together a star-studded line-up of creators, athletes, and entertainers, this groundbreaking event will put them through their paces in the super-speedy GEN3 Evo race car.
The GEN3 Evo, that they’ll race, is no ordinary electric racing car—it goes from 0 to 60 mph in a staggering 1.82 seconds, 30% quicker off the mark than a Formula 1 car. As these rookies take on the challenge, fans will enjoy an inside look at their experience, through regular social media updates, from anxious starts to high-speed mastery. The action will also be captured in a feature-length documentary, that is set to be released in late 2025.
Eleven top-flight competitors, from football icon Sergio Agüero to actor Tom Felton and car icon Supercar Blondie, have all had lots of preparation, from simulator runs to engineering presentations, before their turn behind the wheel. They will all be paired with a professional Formula E team and guided by experienced drivers like reigning champion Pascal Wehrlein and Andretti driver Jake Dennis.
