As the 2025 Formula E season continues, Formula E is planning to capture the motorsport world’s attention with the launch of Evo Sessions. A completely new initiative by Formula E, this event will bring together 11 personalities from various backgrounds (sport, tech and entertainment) to experience the thrill of driving a (all-new GEN3 Evo) race car for the first time. This is the first time that non-racing athletes will set foot in such a car.
The Plan
Formula E is certainly stepping up its game, with Evo Sessions leading the charge. With 11 influential figures, including Brooklyn Peltz Beckham, Sergio Agüero, Lucien Laviscount, Emelia Hartford, Vinnie Hacker and Cleo Abram set to participate in the Sessions. The remaining five creators will be revealed later. The event is will hopefully gain massive traction across a variety of social platforms, engaging a fresh audience and hopefully attracting new fans.
The 11 creators will document the training sessions and behind-the-scenes moments by themselves. Fans will be able to follow the event through this content. A full-lenght documentary is going to capture the event. It will offer an unprecedented look at what it takes to compete at the highest level of electric racing.
Formula E’s strategy with Evo Sessions is proving that the world of electric racing isn’t just about speed on the track, but also about connecting with fans through new ideas of content that are engaging, dynamic and speak to a wide range of interests.
The project will culminate in a two-day testing session at the Miami International Autodrome in March 2025, where fans will finally see these rookies put the GEN3 Evo through its paces. It’s clear to us that Formula E’s approach will generate a level of excitement previously unseen in the world of electric racing.
Evo Sessions may not just be a social media triumph for Formula E, if the on-track performance matches the buzz off it. The 2025 season could see the electric racing league make an even bigger impact on the global stage. Close to how Lewis Hamilton’s move to Ferrari has shifted the narrative in F1, Evo Sessions could drive Formula E into an new realm of viewership.
