Nikola Tsolov continues to offer great racing and giving his all to win the championship. Despite two safety cars, Joshua Dürksen kept the lead and won the race.

Sebastián Montoya made a great start to keep the lead. However, thanks to the tow, Martinius Stenshorne behind made a great overtake to take first place after the Raidillon. The PREMA Racing driver seemed to struggle as Joshua Dürksen came really close to him, without the DRS. Nikola Tsolov managed to go up two positions. Kush Maini on the other hand, had an awful start since he said longer on the grid. The same thing happened for Roman Billinski. Dürksen finally overtook Montoya on lap 6 with the DRS.

A few seconds later, Cian Shields found himself in the gravel as Ritomo Miyata pushed him a little, calling the safety car. Noel León went back into the pit to DNFed. At the restart, everyone was patient and kept their positions. Beganovic managed to overtake Montoya for the last spot on the podium. Tsolov tried to overtake as well but almost made contact with the PREMA driver. On lap 11, Varrone and Miní both pitted. The MP Motorsport driver had to pit for a fire suspicion. In the meantime, Dürksen overtook Stenshorne for the lead. A lot of drivers took a black and white flag for track limit, most of them out of the points except for Dino Beganovic.

A last lap of pure action

John Bennett spun because he was too wide at Blanchimont, thankfully without any damage. The safety car was called for the second time. Ritomo Miyata as well as Kush Maini both pitted under it for supersoft tyres on lap 15. Joshua Dürksen made the restart before the chicane, which gave him a bit of a margin to Stenshorne. Nikola Tsolov made a move on Montoya and took P4, while the PREMA driver went wide and lost everything to find himself in P9. Rafael Câmara tried to attack Alexander Dunne but he didn’t manage to have the upper hand. Joshua Dürksen took the win for the second time this season in a sprint race, in front of Martinius Stenshorne and Dino Begnovic.
