Few mistakes made on track by the drivers and hard battling from top to bottom, with a change of championship leader at the last moment.

Everyone on the grid was on hard tyres. Gabriele Miní kept the lead but his rival, Nikola Tsolov, behind made an excellent start, already gaining three positions. Joshua Durksen overtook Ritomo Miyata. The Japanese lost a lot of positions. John Bennett and Sebastián Montoya both went wide into the gravel and with the Trident hitting the back of the Prema, both had to DNFed, calling the safety car.

The restart was clean with everyone staying at their position but Nikola Tsolov was eager to try and pass Villagomez in P2. He managed to overtake on lap 9. Cian Shields spun into the gravel but managed to go back on track. Martinius Stenshorne took a 10-seconds penalty for pushing Rafael Câmara out of the track. Both DAMS drivers were stuck behind Miyata, trying to overtake him. They managed to do so on lap 13 and 14.

Battling for the win until the last moment

Nikola Tsolov came back on Gabriele Miní on lap 16. The Bulgarian driver tried to attack the Italian, but the Alpine Academy driver defended well and kept his position. Dino Beganovic was battling hard on Joshua Durksen for P6. Mari Boya and Noel León made contact with the Campos Racing losing a piece of his front wing.

Colton Herta pushed Stenshorne and the Rodin Motorsport driver spun on track. In front, Gabriele Miní made a mistake, locking his tyres. It gave the opportunity to Nikola Tsolov to overtake on the last lap. Nikola Tsolov won for the second time in a Sprint Race, in front of Gabriele Miní and Rafael Villagomez.
