If Ugo Ugochukwu showed how to win while being comfortable with his car, Théophile Naël showed how to take a podium with style.

Ugo Ugochukwu had a great start but Yevan David in P2 as well and tried to attack the sprint poleman on Turn 6. Théophile Naël also had a great start, going three positions up. Freddie Slater and Ernesto Rivera were battling hard on track, with the Trident driver trying to overtake. Gerard Xie had a puncture but was able to regain the pit. Christian Ho also pitted a lap later to change his front wing, probably due to a contact with Xie. With 12 laps remaining, Ugochukwu already created a little gap with the driver behind, with a 1.1 second margin.

Despite being really close to Riviera, Slater seemed to struggle to overtake the Mexican. Being out of the DRS range, Alessandro Giusti lost P3 with James Wharton overtaking him. Noah Strømsted also took the occasion to overtake the Williams Academy driver. Naël and Gładysz were still battling and the French driver managed to finally overtake him, despite a tyre in the gravel for the ART Grand Prix driver. At the same time, Strømsted and De Palo overtook Wharton. A couple of turns later, Naël did the same thing.

On the edge

Ugochukwu in front missed all the fun, having a comfortable lead of 6 seconds. Strømsted and De Palo had a bit of contact but thankfully for them with no gravity. Naël made a great overtake on De Palo for P4, despite the Trident driver closing the door slightly. With two laps remaining, David tried really hard to defend his P2. De Palo and Naël behind still battled and the Italian managed to take the upper hand, even though he pushed the French a little out of the track.

Yevan David and Noah Strømsted had a bit of an argument, with the Trident having his tyres in the gravel, losing the position to his teammate De Palo. It was really really close on the racing line, with David, De Palo and Naël battling until the last second. In the end, Ugo Ugochukwu won with a 16 seconds margin, Yevan David kept his P2 and Théophile Naël took P3 at the last moment.
