Many drivers looked to be competitive but Alex Dunne set the pace in F2 Practice at Silverstone, highlighting his past experience around the circuit.

All 22 drivers emerged onto the track and the times begin to come in as the drivers were pushing. Initially it was Sebastian Montoya who set a time of 1:59.848.

Joshua Dürksen and Tasnapol Inthraphuvasak both stormed to the top before Montoya returned to first position, setting a time of 1:43.555.

Inthraphuvasak soon returned to the top spot before Martinius Stenshorne, Alex Dunne, Roman Bilinski and Mari Boya bested him.

Gabriele Minì was the first driver to set a time in the 1:42s with a 1:42.865.

Stenshorne, John Bennett, Rafael Câmara and Dunne were all able to move to the top spot. However, it was Câmara who was able to be the best of the drivers, setting a time of 1:42.136.

Minì had an off and tapped the wall at Becketts but was able to keep going. The same could not be said for Colton Herta who pulled off track, causing a yellow flag between Turns 4 and 5. Herta was unable to rejoin the F2 Practice Session.

Alex Dunne returned to the top of the field, showing his past experience at Silverstone and setting a time of 1:42.065.

Laurens Van Hoepen had a slight off before the Virtual Safety Car was shown, signalling five minutes left.

Formula Two will be back on track at 15:55 (14:55 local time) for qualifying.
