After the results of the first Berlin E-Prix race of the weekend, Norman Nato had a much better experience the second time around. The Frenchman ended his 37 laps in fifth place, just three places behind his teammate, Oliver Rowland, both Nissans in the points.

After the race Nato told The Girls Who – Motorsport that while Saturday was a long day, the team was able to find the issue, and they fixed it on Saturday night. “Thanks to the mechanics, who put in some work to change what was wrong in the car.” This way he was able to try again on Sunday and score some points for the team.

Furthermore, the French driver mentioned that he wasn’t able to take as much away from Race 1 as he would have liked. Before he got in the car on Sunday, he was a bit unsure how the day would go. That morning, everything fell back as normal, and he was able to “fight as much as possible as I did, and it worked well.”

Was he happy to be in the points again? Short answer, yes. “When you have an issue in the car, it’s part of the game, but it’s a day when you basically couldn’t fight at all. At least now, I had the opportunity to fight.” Finishing 5th and having both cars in the top five. “It’s something we are really happy with.”
