Ferrari secured a dramatic home pole for the WEC round at Imola, but only by the narrowest of margins as Antonio Giovinazzi snatched top spot in the dying moments of a thrilling Hyperpole session. Ryo Hirakawa had looked set to deliver a shock for Toyota before Giovinazziโs final lap of 1:30.127 edged him ahead by just 0.011 seconds, with four Hypercars covered by less than a tenth.
