It was supposed to be a twenty laps Sprint Race, however two drivers shorten it to nine with a huge crash. Van Amersfoort make a double podium.

Two Van Amersfoort cars, Bruno Del Pino and Enzo Deligny, were one the first row and the Spanish driver kept the upper hand at the start. Badoer took third place away from Strømsted. The start was really clean with no closed doors even though the battle on track was everywhere. Louis Sharp was the driver with the most gained position, four in one lap. On the third lap, a hard battle between a Prema Racing car and Colnaghi saw the latter in the gravel, making him go P30. All drivers seemed to have a DRS issue making it unusable.

Freddie Slater managed to overtake Lacorte on lap 7 for tenth. Louis Sharp and James Wharton battled hard, but maybe a little too hard on Turn 5 as their cars touched and they both finished into the wall. This huge crash created a red flag, leaving eleven laps at the restart. However, the race never resumed due to priority for Formula 1. Bruno Del Pino took the win, in front of his teammate Enzo Deligny. Brando Badoer completed the podium. Despite the crash, both Prema Racing drivers keep their position in the top 10 but only the top 5 took points.
