After last year’s star-studded debut, which featured the likes of Brooklyn Beckham, Sergio Aguero and MrBeast, but without a livestream. The 2026 edition raised the stakes. Two teams of global influencers, Señor Frogs and Quickstars, went head-to-head in a knockout format, battling not only for individual glory but for collective bragging rights.

Qualifying Sets the Tone

The new format began with 15-minute solo qualifying sessions, with each driver alone on track in Formula E’s GEN3 Evo machinery. The aim was simple: set the fastest possible lap to secure places in the duels. It was Behzinga, representing DS Penske, who lit up the timesheets with a 1:27.984, setting the fastest lap of the day. Juca followed closely with a 1:28.055 for Quickstars, while Chip himself slotted into third.

Further down the order, trouble brewed for Quickstars. Browney and Max Klymenko filled the final two spots and were resigned to the ‘wooden spoon’ race. An ominous sign for a team already under pressure.

Quarter-Final Chaos

The opening duel saw Behzinga face TikTok content creator Khaby Lame. Lame showed flashes of promise in sector one but ran too deep into the bus stop chicane, taking the escape route and invalidating his lap. Behzinga, calm and composed, delivered a 1:33.752 to advance comfortably.

Drama struck in the second quarter-final when Izzy Hammond, already assured a semi-final berth after JUCA’s qualifying crash, hit the wall hard at Turn 13. A 25G impact ended her run, though Señor Frogs still banked the point.

The standout head-to-head came between Chip and Emelia Hartford. Hartford’s tidy 1:32.148 looked strong, but Chip found crucial gains in sector three to edge her with a 1:31.764. An all-Señor Frogs duel between Arthur TV and WillNE followed, with WillNE progressing despite a messy lap. Therefore, setting up a semi-final clash with his own teammate.

Señor Frogs Seal the Team Title

The semi-finals effectively handed momentum and points to Señor Frogs. Behzinga advanced by default after Hammond’s earlier crash, while WillNE suffered what appeared to be a power issue, or own manipulation, on the final straight, limping to a 1:44.376.

Chip, by contrast, was electric. His 1:29.662 was one of the cleanest laps of the afternoon and extended Señor Frogs’ advantage to an unassailable 13–0 before the wooden spoon race. Quickstars salvaged some points, when Browney defeated Max Klymenko in their intra-team duel, earning five points. But the damage was done. The EVO Sessions Winners Trophy belonged to Señor Frogs.

An All-Frogs Final

Fittingly, the final was a family affair: Behzinga versus Chip. Behzinga struck first. Despite having one fewer competitive run due to the default semi-final win, he delivered a sharp 1:28.633, applying immediate pressure.

Chip responded in style. Aggressive over the kerbs, clinical through the bus stop, and nearly a second quicker in sector two, he crossed the line in 1:28.212. His lap turned out to be enough to claim the Individual Winners Trophy. Behzinga’s earlier 1:27 from qualifying remained the fastest lap of the day, but it was Chip who walked away with the headline prize. A victory that clearly meant more than just content for the lifelong racing fan.

“Even just stepping in the car, when I first accelerated into the first turn, I was like, ‘Oh my God! I’m never going to experience this ever again.’ It was just one of the greatest days of my life.”

A Spectacle Evolving

Streamed live on Formula E’s YouTube channel and backed by teams from across the paddock, EVO Sessions 2026 proved that the concept is more than a novelty, with nearly 23 thousand people watching.

With genuine jeopardy, high-profile personalities and the unforgiving walls of Jeddah, it delivered tension, crashes, fun and, ultimately, a worthy winner. Señor Frogs take the trophy. Chip takes the crown. And EVO Sessions, only two editions in, already feels like a permanent fixture. An event that seems to gather its fan crowd on the Formula E calendar.
