F1 Academy has officially released the calendar for the next 2026 season. The new plan features a surprising new debut for the all-female motorsport series. This will be the fourth year of the young support series, featuring seven rounds and 14 races.

With this, F1 Academy continues its mission to develop talent and increase the visibility of women in motorsport around the world. Finally, this new season will get underway in mid-March at the Shanghai International Circuit. In spring, the series is set to race in Jeddah and Canada alongside the Formula 1 weekends.

A First-Time Visit

F1 Academy will debut at Silverstone; this is one of the season’s surprising moments, as part of the British Grand Prix weekend. This significant addition places the series at the place of origin of Formula 1 competition. A move that will hopefully continue to grow the number of already-motorsport fans that follow the colourful cars around the track.

Strong American Presence

The season finale will once again be staged at the Las Vegas Strip Circuit. The Circuit of the Americas in Austin also returns to the programme. A movement to reinforce the championship’s presence in the United States and the US-American market. Together, the American rounds are expected to rank among the most highly anticipated events on the calendar.

Nevertheless, a number of fan-favourite locations remain on the schedule, such as Shanghai, Jeddah, Montreal and Zandvoort. All three combining difficult and technical corners, fast straights and passionate spectators.

Looking Ahead to the New Season

Formula 1 President and CEO Stefano Domenicali emphasised the series’ contribution to nurturing up-and-coming talent; he said:

“In just three seasons, F1 ACADEMY has developed some fantastic drivers and grown a huge and passionate fanbase all over the world. It inspires women and girls to consider a role in motorsport, be that on or off the track, by removing barriers and showing what can be done.”

The programme’s goal continues to be to encourage and support women and girls worldwide to participate in motorsport. Meanwhile, F1 Academy Managing Director Susie Wolff highlightes,

“Our 2026 F1 ACADEMY calendar reflects the momentum we’re building and the visibility we’re earning across the sport.”

Featuring a schedule that covers Asia, Europe, and North America, the F1 Academy’s 2026 season is set to be a significant year: not only for the championship but also for women in motorsport. Passionate fans can already smell thrilling competition mixed with emerging young talent and racing events.
