The 2026 season is not far away, and most of the teams in Formula 3 and Formula 2 already have their eyes on it. Campos Racing is certainly one of them. 2025 was an exceptional year for Campos Racing.
In Formula 3, they finished first in the championship, with the help of all three of their drivers. Nikola Tsolov battled for the top spot until the end, joined by Mari Boya during mid-season. Tasanapol Inthrapuvasak was also a great candidate, as he finished seventh in the standings with a win under his belt.
In Formula 2, the pairing of Josep Maria Martí and Arvid Lindblad made it work, as they finished third. In fact, both of them found a new home for next season, with one in Formula E and the other in Formula 1. There are five really great drivers and five seats available in the Spanish team, so who would take them for the 2026 season?
New faces in Formula 3
All three drivers in Formula 3 will be new faces in the team. If two of them will be in their second years and not estranged to the F3 fans, the third one will debut but already know the house.
Ernesto Rivera
The 17-year-old driver was already with Campos Racing for the Formula Winter Series in 2024 and the Formula 4 Spanish championship. He went back to the Spanish team for his 2025 Eurocup-3 campaign, where he finished fourth in the standings. He also won three times, had seven podiums and two pole positions. The Mexican could be a driver to watch but will have two strong opponents in the team.
Théophile Naël
The 2025 results do not give enough credit to the 18-year-old French driver. Even though he showed quick pace, he finished eighth in the standings, with only three podiums under his belt. Nevertheless, he managed to show his skills during Macau, the most difficult circuit in the world. He stood on the podium for the first race and took the win for the second. This demonstration of talent proved that the Frenchman will be hungrier than ever for next season.
Ugo Ugochukwu
Once again, it’s a driver whose results don’t reflect his talent. Previously in the Prema Racing family, the 18-year-old American had a very difficult first season in Formula 3. He finished sixteenth in the standings with only 43 points and two podiums. However, his prize list speaks for itself: 2023 vice-champion of Italian Formula 4, 2023 Euro-4 champion, and 2024 Macau champion, taking both victories. If Campos Racing stays in great form, he will probably show great results and fight in front.
Old and New Acquaintances
Like previously mentioned, both of the 2025 drivers have found a new home and left Formula 2. The 2026 line-up will be new, but one of the drivers already has a deep knowledge of the team. The other one will be the new guy.
Nikola Tsolov
Of course the Bulgarian wonder kid was about to stay on the team that almost made him champion. After three seasons in Formula 3, the 18-year-old finally made the step into Formula 2. He showed maturity, speed and real talent in 2025, which led to him being signed into the Red Bull Junior Team. So who wouldn’t be excited to see what he can do? After the departure of Martí for the last two remaining races, the Bulgarian stepped into the Campos Racing car. He even managed to get on the podium in the Abu Dhabi sprint race. He will definitely be one to watch.
Noel León
Like his counterpart Ugo Ugochukwu, Noel León had a difficult season. He finished seventeenth in the standings, with only two podiums, when he was tenth with four podiums in 2024 with Van Amersfoort Racing. With yet to score a win in an FIA championship despite numerous occasions in 2024, next year will be about apprenticeship. There is no doubt that the Mexican driver will be able to achieve that, especially if Campos Racing can guide him and even create a little surprise.
As the focus shifts to 2026, Campos Racing once again blends fresh talent with proven ambition. After a standout 2025 that propelled drivers toward Formula 1 and Formula E, expectations are high. If the team can recreate the environment that fuelled last season’s success, Campos could once again set the benchmark for driver development across the junior categories.
