Homes For Our Troops

“Our mission is to build specially adapted homes across the country. We donate them to the most severely injured post 9/11 veterans.”

Established in 2004, Homes For Our Troops also offers continued support for the veterans as they rebuild their lives. With 90 cents of each dollar spent going directly on the programme, HFOT is providing necessary and life-saving assistance.

The charity have built and donated a total of 424 homes across 45 states and have a further 69 projects underway. Averaging 25 homes a year, Homes For Our Troops is funded by the American public. Over the past four years, Santino Ferrucci has run a special livery to raise funds. This has resulted in $15 million going towards the charity.

Hendricks Commercial Properties and A. J. Foyt Racing Pair Up

Hendricks Commercial Properties is the parent company of ABC Supply – a company, who initially backed A. J. Foyt Racing in 2005. In 2022, ABC Supply spearheaded the HFOT marketing campaign.

To assist in the efforts and fundraising, Hendricks Commercial Properties has sponsored the No. 14 car for the whole season. With this sponsorship, the pairing has committed to a season-long marketing campaign to raise awareness for the charity. Alongside this, they will also foster community development across a range of states.

“It was just perfect for us.” Rob Gerbitz (CEO) said about the partnership. He went on to explain how it’s “an opportunity to support Homes For Our Troops in a really meaningful way.”

Larry Foyt, president of A. J. Foyt Racing, expressed gratitude over the partnership, stating, “We couldn’t be prouder to continue our long relationship with the Hendricks family.”

Ferrucci Has His Say

Home For Our Troops is a meaningful livery to run for Santino Ferrucci. Talking to The Girls Who – Motorsport, he mentioned how running the livery all year is really special. Ferrucci explained how his grandfather served during World War 2 and that he’s “spent a long time doing things and working around military personnel.”

“They’re amazing people. They deserve everything that we can give them. It’s a special cause.”
