The Indianapolis 500 is a staple on the IndyCar calendar. For 109 years, it’s been the pinnacle of oval racing and has made up the Triple Crown since 1929. Since 2019, Gainbridge has been a presenting sponsor of the infamous race, and it’s now been renewed for years to come.
Who Are Gainbridge?
Gainbridge is an InsurTech subsidiary of Group 1001 Insurance Holdings LLC. Established in 2019, its goal is to transform the way that people access financial products. Ultimately, Gainbridge is helping people invest easier.
In 2013, Dan Towriss (also CEO of TWG Motorsport) founded its parent company – Group 1001. With many sub-companies and partnerships, Group 1001 is a collective aiming to empower companies to create positive growth. Their partnerships focus on education and sports.
Gainbridge x Indianapolis 500
Upon its inception, Gainbridge became the presenting sponsor of the iconic Indianapolis 500. The logos and iconography serve as a display of the sponsorship. Featuring major parts of the race, the iconography now works as a visual reminder of the history and traditions surrounding it.
“Partnering with the Indianapolis 500 is a natural fit for Gainbridge, reflecting our shared commitment to success, innovation, and making every second count.”
~ Dan Towriss on the renewed sponsorship.
Looking ahead to the 110th running in 2026, the year’s logo will feature a patriotic flair in order to celebrate the nation’s military. Traditionally, the race falls during the Memorial Day weekend and in 2026 will be during the 250th birth year of the United States.
“Renewing this relationship with a multiyear agreement showcases the strength and continued relevance of the Indy 500, an iconic event with the perfect entitlement partner to fuel a momentous future.”
~ Mark Miles (Penske Entertainment President and CEO).
Outside of the Indianapolis 500, Gainbridge has also been the presenting sponsor of other IndyCar races – such as the 2024 Big Machine Music City Grand Prix. It is also the primary sponsor of Andretti Global’s No. 26 entry. This shows their ongoing support of motorsports, highlighting how it is a positive partnership to continue.
Not only does this partnership continue to increase the imagery and visibility of the Indianapolis 500, but it also serves as a reinforcement of a longstanding relationship. Gainbridge will present the 110th Running of the Indianapolis 500 on the 26th May. Following its 2025 sellout, momentum and excitement are at an all-time high.
