DS PENSKE has confirmed that Lindsay Brewer and Jessica Edgar will represent the team at the Formula E All-Women’s Test on Friday, 31 October, at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia.

The announcement comes as part of Formula E’s official pre-season schedule, which runs from 27–31 October, ahead of the 2025/26 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship. The all-female test, introduced last year to promote inclusion and diversity in the sport, will return with double the track time for participating drivers.

Brewer Steps Into Formula E for the First Time

Colorado-born Lindsay Brewer, 28, will be making her Formula E debut during the session. She’s stepping into the DS E-TENSE FE25 for the first time. Brewer has built an impressive motorsport résumé across the Atlantic, having competed in Indy Pro 2000 and Indy NXT before transitioning to Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America with RAFA Racing. Her 2025 season has already been successful, with a commanding victory at Road America in August.

“I’m truly honoured to be part of the Women’s Testing Session with DS PENSKE,” Brewer said. “This is an incredible opportunity to experience the Formula E environment firsthand and to collaborate with such a talented and accomplished team. I’m excited to learn as much as possible, contribute to the programme, and make the most of this experience.”

Edgar Returns for Her Second Formula E Outing

Joining Brewer is Jessica Edgar, a rising star of British motorsport. The 20-year-old first joined DS PENSKE for last year’s inaugural Women’s Test and returns following a successful stint in the F1 Academy, where she secured four podiums and a race win during the 2023 and 2024 seasons.

Edgar began karting in 2010 before making her single-seater debut in the GB4 Championship in 2022,where she earned a podium at Oulton Park. In 2025, she continues to compete in both the British Kart Championship and Super 4 KZ2.

“I’m really excited to be back with DS PENSKE for the Women’s Test,” Edgar commented. “It feels great to continue this journey with the team after such a positive experience last year. I’ve learnt so much from everyone at DS PENSKE, and I’m looking forward to building on that foundation, gaining more experience in the car, and contributing to the continued growth of women in motorsport.”

A Growing Platform for Women in Formula E

The 2025 Women’s Test marks the second consecutive year that Formula E has dedicated a full day to female drivers. The initiative gives emerging and established racers a rare opportunity to gain hands-on experience with the latest Gen3 Evo cars—the fastest and most advanced in the championship’s history.

Eugenio Franzetti, Director of DS Performance, praised the lineup and reaffirmed the team’s commitment to developing female talent:

“We are very pleased to have Lindsay join our team for the Women’s Test. She is a genuine talent both on the track and off it, and I am sure she will help highlight the expertise of DS Automobiles. With Lindsay Brewer and Jessica Edgar, we have a strong duo who will undoubtedly be among the standouts of the day.”

Building Momentum Ahead of Season 12

For DS PENSKE, the test provides valuable preparation before the start of Season 12, with all teams set to take to the track in Valencia from 27–30 October for the only collective running before the championship kicks off in São Paulo on 6 December.

Both drivers will take to the circuit between 09:00 and 17:00 CET on 31 October, representing DS PENSKE’s iconic black and gold colours as Formula E continues its drive towards a more inclusive future for motorsport.
