Nissan Formula E Team’s simulator driver, Abbi Pulling, is preparing to make her next appearance behind the wheel. She’s set to participate at the second all-women’s Formula E test later this month at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia.
Pulling is no stranger to the Nissan e-4ORCE 05. Last year she topped the inaugural all-women’s test and participated in the Berlin Rookie Test during Season 11. Since joining the team officially in June, she has played a key role in simulator sessions. In her role she has been building a deeper understanding of Formula E operations, she explains.
Building Experience On and Off the Track
In addition to her work with Nissan, the 2024 F1 Academy champion has been actively competing in the 2025 GB3 Championship. Pulling recently secured a podium in this series at Brands Hatch, showcasing her continued growth as a driver.
Valencia will mark Pulling’s first on-track outing for Nissan in Season 12, the final campaign under the current GEN3 regulations.
Nissan’s Managing Director and Team Principal, Tommaso Volpe, said the team is thrilled to see Pulling return to the car. “We’re very excited to see Abbi back on track,” he explained.

“She has already demonstrated how skilled and professional she is, and we are all enjoying collaborating with her regularly since she officially joined the team back in June.” Volpe added that the Valencia outing offers another valuable step in the young driver’s growth.
Pulling focused on development and consistency
For Pulling, the focus is on building on what she learnt last time out in Berlin. “I’m excited to get back on-track with Nissan Formula E Team,” she said. “My target for this test is to once again get to grips with the Nissan e-4ORCE 05 and build on my learnings from the Berlin Rookie Test.”
She added that her time with the team has been hugely rewarding. “I’ve really enjoyed my time with the crew over the past year, and I’m looking forward to continuing to work together at the test and in the simulator during the 2025/26 campaign.”
With her growing role in the team and strong recent performances, Pulling’s session in Valencia promises to be an important step in her Formula E journey. The all-women’s test offers not only an opportunity for her to gain more time in the car but also to contribute valuable data and insight as the team fine-tunes its approach for Season 12.
