On October 13th, 2025, TAG Heuer Porsche confirmed their driver line up for Season 12 of the Formula E season. The new line-up consists of Pascal Wehrlein, who’s continuing his fifth year with the team, and welcomed former Andretti driver Nico Müller.
Wehrlein has been the Season 10 Formula E champion and a part of the factory team since 2020; on the other hand, Müller is no stranger to the Porsche machinery since he’s spent a decent time doing simulator work for the team.
The ex-Andretti driver replaced Portuguese driver António Félix da Costa, who transitioned to Jaguar TCS Racing for the new season. After a tough yet educational season with Andretti, Müller steps into the team ready to deliver the highest calibre of racing.
“I’m incredibly proud of this step,” the Swiss driver said, acknowledging the challenge ahead. “I know the car, I know the system, and now it’s time to prove myself at the highest level.”
Throughout his time with Andretti, Müller managed to secure two fourth-place finishes. In the end he concluded his last season at 15th place in the standings.
Porsche Motorsport Director Thomas Laudenbach emphasised not only Müller’s readiness but also the growing strength of the programme as it prepares for the final season under the current Gen3 regulations.
“It’s about consistency now, we know what Pascal brings. Nico, too, has already shown what he’s capable of. Now we go racing.”

The duo’s debut as teammates will come during pre-season testing later this month, but the news of the upgraded duo has been on the horizon for some time, with Porsche’s social channels buzzing with teasers.
