Another thrilling day at Silverstone as we awaited qualifying. After watching Tsolov, Stenshorne, Camara, and Wurz battle for the top spots during free practice, we can anticipate that qualifying will be equally fierce. 

25 Minutes Remain

We began the session on a green flag, with Stromsted at the top of the leaderboard at 2:07.693, but more laps continued to be added. After a brief stint in P1, Giusti was overtaken by Camara by two tenths of a second, resulting in a lap time of 1:46.318.

Leon, who had a terrific lap but strayed wide towards the last circuit, saw a strong lap lead to nothing. We saw a few drivers taking to the grass or almost making contact, so it’s probable the stewards will need to investigate certain things. As some drivers went into the pits and others stayed for another lap, Tsolov finished first at 1:45.655. While Stenshorne pushed hard, rising from P16 to P11 with a lap time of 1:46.572, Wurz was on a green lap but backed out and went into the pit lane.

15 Minutes Remain

Tsolov sat in P1, with Tranmnitz in P2, and Inthraphuvasak in P3 for our top three at the time. With a green lap move to P4 at 1:46.116, Benavides was laying it all on the track. At 1:46.098, Bilinski, who is well-versed on the track, jumps up to P4 after trying to climb up from P10.

With another fast lap, Stromsted finished second, while Camara grabbed the place with 1:45.176. Perhaps as a result of all the bouncing, Christian Ho had a part of the car out of alignment, yet he still maintained a good lap.

8 Minutes Remain

We watched Taponen in P6 and Wharton in P7 as Van Hopen advanced to P4 in 1:45.830. At 1:45.777, Wurz’s determined effort caused him to rise from P20 to P4, which is Trident on P1, P3, and P4. Nael also got better, climbing to P2 in 1:45.522.

2 Minutes Remain

As the last push laps continued, Tramnitz overtook Stenshorn for P2. Pole 1:45.043 goes to Tsolov, who is focused on the finish line and had his head down! At 1:45.066, however, Ugochukwu is taking P2 as he speeds through the circuit! As other drivers attempt to complete their laps now that qualifying is completed, Camara, continuing his run of green laps, took P3 after a yellow flag briefly appeared and then returned to green. Wurz’s lap time of 1:45.176 placed him in P6. 

Qualifying Finished

Tsolov finished first in qualifying, followed by Ugochukwu in P2 and Camara in P3. Our session’s top twelve is completed by Boya in P4, Tramnitz in P5, Wurz in P6, Stendshorne in P7, Van Hoepen in P8, Nael in P9, Leon in P10, Christian Ho in P11, and Inthraphuvasak in P12. A lot might happen as we get ready for tomorrow’s sprint and race, particularly if the weather presents additional difficulties.
