Atlassian Williams Racing announced their new academy driver. Victor Martins, 2022 Formula 3 champion, comes to reinforce an already solid line-up.

It came as surprising news when Atlassian Williams Racing decided to announce Victor Martins as their new academy driver. Previously with the Alpine Academy, the Frenchman parted ways with them at the beginning of 2025, stating they didn’t have the same goal anymore. He already demonstrated his talent and his speed in Formula 2, and will join Luke Browning, his previous teammate, to reinforce the already solid future for Atlassian Williams Racing. The 2022 Formula 3 champion is more than excited to begin this new journey : “This is a new chapter for me, but my goal remains the same – to push myself to the limit, both as a person and as a racing driver, and to make it to Formula 1. Williams is an iconic team with an incredible history, and I’m confident this is the best place to be to help me achieve my goals. […] I look forward to working with everyone at Williams as we embark on this new journey together”.

The chapter with his new team begins this weekend in Monza, where he and Luke Browning will be taking the wheel of the FW45 as part of the Testing Previous Cars programme.
