Milan’s Piazza Castello, on March 6th, was flooded with Ferrari red as thousands of excited fans, visited the city for a majestic celebration of speed, heritage, and a new Scuderia Ferrari era. The “Scuderia Ferrari HP Drivers’ Presentation by UniCredit” event initiated a thrilling alliance between the iconic Italian racing team and one of the leading European banks, UniCredit. Ferrari CEO, Benedetto Vigna, underlined:

“The collaboration between UniCredit and Scuderia Ferrari HP is also about special events like this. And Milan is absolutely the right place for this, as our partner’s headquarters are here.”

The event presented Ferrari’s 2025 new Formula 1 driver lineup, featuring Charles Leclerc and the newly signed seven-time world champion, Lewis Hamilton. The atmosphere was exciting as the drivers and team boss, Fred Vasseur, took the main stage, engaging with the crowd and sharing their excitement for the season ahead. Hamilton described his first official Ferrari event in red with:

“Feeling all this love gives us a real boost for the coming championship. Wearing red and experiencing an event like this is something special… I can’t wait to get on track with this extraordinary team.”

Adding to the hopeful and excited tone of the event, Leclerc and Hamilton thrilled the audience with high-octane demonstrations in Ferrari’s SF90 and SF21 cars, filling the Milanese streets with the unmistakable roar of Ferrari engines. Fans were able to watch in awe as the drivers showcased precise control with dramatic spins and burnouts, further igniting anticipation for the upcoming F1 season.

Ferrari Chief Executive, Benedetto Vigna, and UniCredit Chief Executive, Andrea Orcel, also took the opportunity to highlight the significance of this new partnership, highlighting their shared values of ambition, innovation, and excellence. For Ferrari, the partnership is a sign of a strengthened foundation as the group aims to reclaim its position at the pinnacle of motorsport.

For Hamilton, it was his first major event in Italy as a Ferrari driver. Donning the legendary red, he talked about his excitement regarding this new era, while Leclerc acknowledged the relentless encouragement of the ‘Tifosi‘, whose passion fuels the team’s ambitions. Even a little near-slip by Hamilton as he stepped out of the car and slipped on the front tire was no reason to dampen that excitement.

With the Australian Grand Prix on 16 March opening the Formula 1 season, the Milan event was a declaration that spoke for itself: Ferrari is back, the drivers are hungry, and the future has never been brighter.
