Bianca Bustamante is advancing in the single-seater racing hierarchy, as Elite Motorsport has announced her debut in the GB3 Championship for 2025.
The 19-year-old driver is stepping up from the F1 Academy, where she finished seventh in the Drivers’ Standings in consecutive seasons. In 2023, Bustamante achieved two victories and two additional podium finishes, with her best result being a second-place finish in Miami Race 2 during her sophomore campaign.
This season, she has also competed in the Formula Winter Series, Italian F4, and British F4 Championships. She also took part in the Formula E Women’s Test for NEOM McLaren, where she sat the third-fastest time of the test. Abbi Pulling and Jamie Chadwick who sat the fastest and second fastest times.
Reflecting on this next chapter in her racing career, Bustamante remarked, “GB3 is an excellent opportunity to advance in the single-seater competition. After spending two seasons in F4 machinery with the F1 ACADEMY, I believe that GB3 is the ideal step for mastering higher downforce and more powerful cars, with my next goal being Formula 3.”
